Try my best to get in to work

My morning routine involved getting my daughter to the bus for 7:20, then rushing my son to his school which took 3 times the normal time it takes to arrive. Got there for 9am, then drove another hour in traffic to get to work. 

When I arrived to work 2 hours late I quickly went to go and speak with my supervisor to let them know that I was sorry but that I also needed to leave work early in order to pick the kids up at the appropriate times given the probable trafic. Lets just say he wasn't super understanding and he gave me two choices
