You ask Mr Maller:

Do you have any chronic illnesses, or take regular medication? 

Mr Maller responds to say he is usually very fit and exercises regularly. He does not take any regular medication.

Have you been coughing or bringing up sputum? Have you been short of breath at all? 

He has no dyspnoea at rest and hasn't had a cough.

Have you had any pain when passing urine? 

Mr Maller reports that despite two litres of fluids daily, his urine is still very dark, but he has no pain when passing urine.

Have you had any recent travel abroad? 

Mr Maller spent two weeks in Thailand three years ago, but he has been well since. He did not take Malaria prophylaxis.
