'When I worked out what had happened, I felt a bit sick, so sat up and took off my helmet. I was short of breath and uncomfortable, so I took my leathers off as well. I then went to lie on the grass to catch my breath. I was already having definite problems with my heart at this stage.'

So in summary, his main symptoms seem to be nausea, shortness of breath and palpitations.
