Counters

Counters are a simple way of keeping track of progress for learners, providing them with additional forms of feedback, or providing a game-like element.

In the generic OpenLabyrinth layout, you will see them down in the lower right corner of the screen. As they change, OLab also attempts to show you how your score changed.

Counters can now also support text strings, which provides authors with more flexibility. Display of Counters can be turned on or off, node by node - that's why you did not see them until now.
