For example, archive.org and similar sites are specifically designed to keep copies of everything that is posted to the web, including old or deleted pages. 

And that does not include the various 3-letter agencies near to us are also storing, as we recently heard from Mr Snowden.
So, even if you deleted those scuzzy pictures, there's probably still a copy floating around somewhere!
