Resources

PeArLS were first designed by Schwartz and Heath in 1985. They published a short description of how they used them:

Schwartz PL, Heath CJ. PEARLS (personally arranged learning sessions): an alternative to presentations of free papers. British Medical Journal (Clinical research ed). 1985;290(6466):453-454. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1417768/

It is freely available from PubMed Central.

While the podcast is accessible on YouTube, you can also download the original from here.

And here is the PPT file.
