You are the junior doctor (UK: FY2) in Accident and Emergency (A+E), and you are working in minor injuries ('minors') today. Your next patient is Mr John O'Connor, a gentleman who has been brought to A+E as the victim of an assault. The A+E card says:

'46 year old male. Brought in by police. Head Injury following assault. No loss of consciousness, alert and orientated. Transfer to minors.'
