Why did we present our materials this way? There are lots of video materials out there on YouTube and other sites which show you how to do certain procedures. But while the material is plentiful, we also found that often there was no single video that conveyed all that we wanted. And often, we only wanted to use part of a video. This approach allows us to link to key elements in other videos, highlighting the important sections, without modifying the original material or compromising copyright. There is the disadvantage that this case will have less visual uniformity and continuity than a site which tries to cover all aspects, but we felt that it is more important to bring you the best material, rather than worrying about appearances. All the videos in this case are attributed back to their original sites and authors. We are grateful to the many dedicated clinicians out there who have taken time to create such material. We hope that this approach to curating the best parts conveys greater value to our learners, and also to the originating authors. While we have done our best to ensure that our material and the linked material is accurate and without errors, we cannot guarantee such accuracy. Occasionally linked material may change. And errors do creep into any guidance material. Learners should not rely solely on the information contained in this guide but should seek out additional advice from competent teachers and practitioners. |
