Introduction

Premise: 21yo man dives off bridge, head injury, c/spine, drowning, difficult intubation.

Welcome to our case, demonstrating how you can blend a variety of learning modalities in scenario-based learning. 

In this case we have the following:

• a simple first-aid exercise in OLab
• a SimMan scenario with a serious cardiac arrhythmia
• a difficult airway scenario
• a 3D model of a cervical spine injury

You can jump direct to the various Sections, using the section headings on the top-right. 

In the final stages of the scenario, the facilitator can have groups of students tackle the SimMan scenario and practice their resuscitation skills. Other students can continue to work on ancillary materials while they are waiting.
