You are off camping for the long weekend with a bunch of friends, some of whom are more experienced in the woods than others. You have traveled for a couple of hours and it is now time to set up your camp for the first night. 

Here is a map of your campsite: you have pitched your tents on the east bank of the small river. The river runs north to south. There is a small beach on the river edge where the kids like to play.
