Running combined vertical mattress

This is a new technique described here in this journal article. Fair warning - this is not for the beginner.

However, this does combine the advantages of the speed of the running suture, with the eversion of a vertical mattress suture.

Running Combined Simple and Vertical Mattress Suture: A Rapid Skin-Everting Stitch. Krunic, AL et al. Dermatological Surgery. Volume 31, Issue 10, pages 1325–1329, October 2005. http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.1524-4725.2005.31212/abstract

We do not have a video of this procedure but this article does have good illustrations and description of the technique.
