Introduction to ePortfolio and Assessing Professionalism

Welcome to OpenLabyrinth.

The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) has implemented ePortfolio as a summative assessment tool to support their Competency by Design (CBD) initiative in the updated CanMEDS 2015 Framework. Successful implementation of a method such as ePortfolio requires explicit faculty development. Along with gaining comfort in a web-based technology, educators will be required to evaluate professionalism as a performance measure. Uisng OpenLabyrinth to work through brief situations, you will explore your assumptions and knowledge about ePortfolio in the assessment of professionalism in residency medical education.
